1. Agreement

These terms apply to your use of the Cortex IT Solution website and to any enquiry, call booking or subscription you make through it. By using this website you accept these terms.

Paid work is always governed by a separate written proposal or contract signed by both parties. Where that contract and these terms differ, the signed contract applies.

2. Our services

We provide technology services including:

• Web and mobile application development
• AI, automation and integration work
• Cloud, DevOps, migration and modernisation
• UI/UX and product design
• Digital marketing, analytics and reporting
• Managed IT support and maintenance

3. Quotes, scope and timelines

Prices, timelines and deliverables shown on this website are indicative. A binding quote is issued only after we understand your requirements in detail.

Estimated timelines assume timely feedback, content and approvals from your side. Delays in those inputs move delivery dates accordingly.

Work beyond the agreed scope is quoted and approved separately before it starts.

4. Payment terms

• Projects typically run on milestone-based billing, with an advance payment before work begins.
• Invoices are payable within the number of days stated on the invoice.
• Applicable taxes are charged in addition to quoted fees.
• We may pause work on overdue accounts after written notice.

5. Client responsibilities

• Provide accurate requirements, content, brand assets and access needed to do the work.
• Nominate a decision maker who can give feedback and approvals.
• Ensure you have the right to use any material you give us.
• Keep your own accounts, credentials and third-party subscriptions in good standing.

6. Intellectual property

On full payment, ownership of the custom work we build specifically for you transfers to you. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, frameworks, libraries and know-how, and grant you a licence to use them as part of your solution.

Third-party software, plugins and services remain subject to their own licences. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, we may reference the project in our portfolio.

7. Confidentiality

We treat your business information, data and documents as confidential and share them only with team members who need them to deliver your project. We are happy to sign a separate non-disclosure agreement on request.

8. Warranty and support

We correct defects in our work reported within the warranty period stated in your contract, at no extra charge. The warranty does not cover changes made by third parties, new feature requests, or issues caused by hosting, third-party services or changes on your side. Ongoing support is available under a separate support plan.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity.

This website and its content are provided for general information and without warranty of any kind.

10. Acceptable use of this website

• Do not submit false information, spam or unlawful content through our forms or chat.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems.
• Do not copy, scrape or reuse our content without written permission.

11. Cancellation

Either party may end an engagement with written notice as set out in the signed contract. On cancellation, you pay for all work completed and costs committed up to the cancellation date. Advance payments are non-refundable once work has started.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Patna, Bihar have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
